CONSIGN & SHOP
The Wallflower's Closet is a place to shop or consign your clothing with us! We're here not only help you clear out your closets but keep the cycle of clothing going and out of dumpsters. We believe that all clothing deserves sustainability (though every item was not made for it) we work to ensure each piece is fulfilled of its' longevity.
How it works:
Gather any lightly used (or new!) clothing to drop off. I will literally handle everything else, this includes:
- Organizing & researching items and list prices based on market/fees
- Photograph and/or clean up any minor flaws (please try keeping items clean before sending/smoke free or I’ll have to donate)
- Provide Excel spreadsheet with details of items/links
- Work with buyers on pricing/shipping
- Paying you (via VENMO) when funds are released
Break down of fees:
- Poshmark takes 20% commission or $2.95 for items under $15
- Depop takes 10% of the sale and PayPal takes 2.9% from the sale
Example: Item is listed for $25 and sells for that on Poshmark, after fee is $20, then if we spilt 50/50 we each earn $10 from that item. *If I offer shipping discounts to the buyer - I will take this from my earnings for a faster sale!

FAQ
Do you only accept new items?
We accept new and gently used items. Any items that have stains or minor defects please disclose prior. We've sold items with defects before but included all details in listing and will price it to reflect it's condition.
How long will it take for my items sell?
Items can sell within the day of listing or can take up to a year to sell. If at anytime you wish to take back items please let us know as soon as possible. We will push to sell items quickly but at this time cannot promise a timeline.
Do you have trial options?
Yes, absolutely! This service is flexible, we would be happy to try items for a period of time. If you feel not fit for what you're needing we can pull all items from the shop!
What if I have more to sell?
Great news for us both! We will accept items whenever, whether it's one item or 100 at a time - we've done it all!
Are there items you will not take?
At this time, we're not accepting large winter coats, shoes, and jewelry. If you drop off items we can not take, we will let you know to arrange pick up.
What brands are selling?
We try to sell everything - this is to encourage the sustainability (even to fast fashion). Just know that the 'cheaper' brands will not turn around much of a profit. But we've offered a list of brands we find are selling quickly for us below!
